Award winning filmmaker Tim Clark has worked in everything from documetaries and music videos to sitcoms and features. His short, NIGHTFALL, hailed by Film Threat Magazine as “gripping...frustrating beauty”, won a camera package from Panavision’s New Filmmaker Program and a film award from Kodak while still in pre-production, and was included in the film anthology Dark Matter hosted by preeminent paranormal investigator George Noory.
He was an assistant editor for Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated documentarian Ken Burns, responsible for cobbling together hundreds of hours of narration on Not For Ourselves Alone: The Story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony and the ten-part series Jazz. He’s worked on a variety of films such as the remake of H.G. Wells’ THE TIME MACHINE with Guy Pearce, OLD SCHOOL, ENVY, CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN, DODGEBALL and MISS CONGENIALITY 2.
His TV and web experience spans music video, sitcom, reality, documentary and animation working with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Patient 113, Local Natives and Fool’s Gold as well as shows Last Man Standing with Tim Allen, Freddie and What I Like About You on ABC, Keyshawn Johnson: Tackling Design and We Mean Business for A&E, The Residents on Discovery Health, Shopping with Chefs and Real Estate Confidential on Fine Living Network.
Clark’s interest in film began at an early age, when he had the distinct honor of being killed twice as a camper in the cult film SLEEPAWAY CAMP.
Clark was born in Vermont, raised in New England and Iowa and lives in Los Angeles.
